Foreign duo made Cassano bids

Milan enigma Antonio Cassano has rejected offers from Marseille and Wolfsburg this summer, reports suggest.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both outfits made a bid for the Italian international recently amidst his uncertain future.

Cassano is thought to be considering his options given that he's not guaranteed a first team shirt at Milanello in the season before Euro 2012.

Fiorentina and Genoa have shown an interest in Italy, but completing a subsequent move to either of those clubs would be problematic.

Both outfits would have to make financial sacrifices in order to meet the Italian international's wage demands.

Meanwhile, Cassano's past as a Sampdoria player would further complicate a possible move to the other side of Marassi.
