Serie A side Catania have failed in their attempt to sign Pablo Nicolas Mouche from Boca Juniors.
"The move has fallen through," agent Jose Luis Pineiro told Itasportspress.it. "It's definitely over, the boy will no longer be moving to Italy.
"The biggest problem was that Catania's offer was not considered as big enough by Boca Juniors."
The striker does have other admirers in Italy, but there are also problems regarding his status as he is currently considered as a non-EU player.
"He is liked by Italian clubs, but it is all on stand-by," added Pineiro. "We're still waiting for him to get an EU passport.
"Once all the documents are in place then we could again start talking to teams who are interested in signing him."
