Chiellini respects favourites Milan

Juventus stopper Giorgio Chiellini concedes that Milan will start the season as the team to beat in Italy.

The Rossoneri won the Scudetto last term and have started this campaign by lifting the Italian Super Cup.

"It's right that Milan will start ahead of everyone else," the Italian international told milannews.it after the 2-1 win over Spain.

"Behind them I see Inter a step below. We at Juventus though are a team who can do very well in the new season."

While Juventus have made some important signings, it seems that rivals Inter are ready to sacrifice Samuel Eto'o.

"Even if they sell Eto'o, Inter will just go out and buy someone just as good," added the defender. "Therefore I don't think they will be weakened."

Eto'o is set to be sold to Russian outfit Anzhi.
