Donadoni set for the chop?

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Cagliari are already considering the future of boss Roberto Donadoni.

TMW are today claiming that President Massimo Cellino is pondering a change even before a ball is officially kicked in 2011-12.

The former Italy boss was appointed at the Stadio Sant'Elia in November 2010 after Pierpaolo Bisoli was dismissed.

Today's story adds that Cellino already has a replacement for the former Milan midfielder lined up in the shape of Massimo Ficcadenti.

The latter is currently available for hire after he left Cesena in the summer just weeks after keeping them in Serie A.
