Friendly: Gila's Fiorentina double

Alberto Gilardino bagged a brace as Fiorentina beat their own youth team 6-1 in today's friendly.

Valon Behrami, Cesare Natali and Per Kroldrup sat this out due to injury. Kroldrup underwent tests today that confirmed no ligament damage, so he'll be back in training next week.

It was a shock start for the Viola, who fell behind after nine minutes when Acosty surprised the senior defence.

Gilardino equalised and Gianni Munari turned the game around with his first goal for the club.

Before the break, Gila completed his brace and Alessio Cerci found the back of the net, while Stevan Jovetic also hit the woodwork.

Khouma Babacar and Marco Romizi finished off the rout. Juan Manuel Vargas went off in the final minutes, apparently with a stomach complaint.
