There are reports Fiorentina will not sell Alessio Cerci to Manchester City until they raise their offer above €4.5m.
It is well known that Roberto Mancini wants the winger to join him at Eastlands and Cerci has stated he's ready to quit Florence after a row with the local fans.
According to TMW, the problem is that City won't raise their bid above the current €4.5m mark.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, are holding out for at least €6m to part with the 24-year-old.
“I have received only one official proposal for our players and that is Manchester City's bid for Cerci,” declared director Pantaleo Corvino in today's Press conference.
“He has not told us he wants to leave at all costs. Cerci allowed us to go ahead with these negotiations and we don't know what will happen. He's an important player for us.”
