Brescia striker Andrea Caracciolo will feature in Serie A this term after he signed for Genoa this afternoon.
The forward was available for transfer after the Lombard club were relegated to the second tier at the end of last term.
Having initially targeted Fiorentina ace Alberto Gilardino, the Grifone were forced to turn their attention elsewhere.
Caracciolo has joined the Marassi outfit on a co-ownership deal. Genoa are believed to have paid €1.6m for a 50 per cent share in the player.
The 29-year-old was also wanted by Chievo.
