Milan can go to the Nou Camp next week and beat European champions Barcelona, insists Robinho.
"It will be a difficult game, against the best side in the world," the Brazilian noted on Milan Channel.
"It is best though to start our Champions League campaign against a tough team like Barcelona, rather than begin with an easy team.
"It's a tie that all players would want to play in. In my opinion, Milan have the right men to play a great game and win in Barcelona."
The two continental giants meet in Spain next Tuesday in their opening game of Group H, which also contains BATE Borisov and Viktoria Plzen.
However, before that tie, the Rossoneri will have to begin the Serie A season with a match against Lazio on Friday.
"We hope to start the campaign well," added the former Real Madrid and Manchester City attacker.
"It'll be a hard game, but as we are playing at home in front of our fans, we are desperate to win it."
