Daniele De Rossi have received a one-match ban for his sending off against Chievo on Saturday.
The Italy international midfielder was red carded for a vicious challenge on Davide Moscardelli.
Roma feared he would pick up a two-match suspension, which would end his 2010 campaign in Serie A.
He will now only miss Roma's match against bottom club Bari at the Olimpico on Sunday.
De Rossi is expected to play in tomorrow evening's all-important Champions League clash with Cluj.
Roma need a positive result if they are to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.
However, they will be without David Pizarro who has come down with the flu.
