Lazio star Stefano Mauri vented his frustration after picking up a thigh injury that could keep him out for some time.
The attacking midfielder was one of the most impressive players in last week's 2-2 draw with Milan, but pulled up with a muscular problem during training.
“Unfortunately, I hurt myself,” he wrote on his official website. “During yesterday's session I felt it ‘pull' and had to stop.
“Obviously, tonight I will not be available to play in the Europa League against Vaslui. I really could've done without this, as I was fired up and felt great.
“Tomorrow I have the medical tests, so let's hope it is only a slight injury.”
There are fears the thigh problem will keep Mauri out for at least two weeks.
