Edy Reja is reportedly set to announce his intention to stay at Lazio, despite yesterday's initial reports that he had wanted to resign.
Reja caused shock on Monday when news broke in the afternoon of his reported intention to quit Lazio.
This was believed to be a follow-up to his post-Genoa defeat news conference, where he had complained of a poor relationship between himself and the club's supporters.
Club President Claudio Lotito then confirmed that he had rejected Reja's resignation in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.
However, Lotito was later quoted by ANSA as suggesting he merely 'clarified a situation' with Reja, and that reports of the 65-year-old's intentions to quit were wide of the mark.
A Press conference is called for 11.00am UK time where Il Corriere dello Sport and Il Messaggero are running the line that Reja will confirm his decision to stay, and give his version of events from the past 48 hours.
