Moratti: 'I'll decide on Gasperini'

Inter President Massimo Moratti admits “Gian Piero Gasperini doesn't have the team in hand. I'll take the night to decide.”

The Nerazzurri fell to a shock 3-1 defeat at newly-promoted Novara on Tuesday evening, meaning in official games Gasp has lost three and drawn one.

Moratti was in the stands of the Stadio Silvio Piola for the match and when he left at the final whistle was asked by journalists what he thought.

“Has Gasperini got the team in hand? After this game, I'd say definitely not.”

The President was also asked whether the Coach ran the risk of being sacked.

“I'll take the night to decide.”

Moratti then engaged in an argument with a Novara supporter who shouted that he was ‘running away.'

“I am here, I'm not running anywhere. Why would I run away? You were superior, I know, nobody is saying you weren't.”
