Walter Gargano insists Napoli must put aside the Milan win to focus on picking up three points against Chievo.
The Mussi Volanti recorded surprise wins home and away against Walter Mazzarri's men last season, and Uruguayan midfielder Gargano is cautious that a repeat is not on the cards.
The midfielder played a key role in Sunday evening's win over Scudetto holders Milan, and is keen that his team both continue their momentum, and show enough respect to Wednesday night's opponents.
"I am happy with how it went against Milan, but now we have think about Chievo.
"Every game is an examination. It will be a tough game, they will have seen us beat the Rossoneri, and prepare to give us a hard time.
"We have to keep thinking that as Napoli, we are rivals for the Scudetto.
"The advantage we have over other teams is that we have an established dressing room that has welcomed the new arrivals and immediately made them feel comfortable, they have been integrated quickly.
Hugo Campagnaro, who will miss the game alongside Ezequiel Lavezzi and Andrea Dossena, also warned against complacency in the wake of a positive start.
"We have already done very well last season and reconfirmed
"Fortunately the first two League games went well, which we now want to continue. However, it is presumptuous to talk about goals right now. Chievo is a black beast after defeated us twice last season.
"Mazzarri is always reminding us, we must go there and play our best. The game with Chievo is worth three points just as the match against Milan was."
