England manager Fabio Capello looks at the Scudetto race and reminds everyone “I consider the Calciopoli titles to be mine.”
The former Juventus Coach gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia in which he reiterated what he'd said in the unveiling of the new Juventus Stadium.
“In my personal trophy cabinet, I consider the two Scudetti that I won on the field with Juventus.”
The 2004-05 and 2005-06 titles were revoked in the Calciopoli scandal, though Juve are fighting a legal battle to have them handed back.
Meanwhile, Capello looked at the current Serie A campaign and his future after Euro 2012.
“This campaign will be very interesting, seeing as the favourites are already very far off the top spot and Napoli started well before their slip-up in Verona.
“I see Juventus among the favourites too, as Antonio Conte is doing a good job, although their fixture list has been favourable so far too.
“The side that impressed me the most has been Napoli. They showed really good football against Manchester City, so I was surprised by their defeat at Chievo.
“As for me, the intention after the European Championships is to retire, but you never know.”
