Franco Colomba believes Parma are growing as a team, and were unfortunate to lose Sunday's meeting with Roma.
Colomba lamented his Parma side's errors against the Giallorossi that proved decisive, but remained upbeat looking ahead.
The Gialloblu Coach was speaking after watching his side fall to a Pablo Daniel Osvaldo header, in a game of few other opportunities for either side.
"We tried to contain them in an intelligent manner without ignoring our offensive output, because Roma are a team that punishes you with the first distraction. And we, in fact, were punished for our error by Osvaldo.
"Then we have responded by creating several chances that did not materialise because of our mistakes.
"Jonathan Biabiany played an excellent game, excluding the wasted opportunity to score - he made a mistake in deciding not to pull it back."
Colomba concluded though that he believes the team are improving, and hinted that they did not get what they deserved out of Sunday's match with Roma either.
"I think we're growing, and growth increases from undeserved defeats like this, as well as some deserved like that in Turin against Juventus.
"We wanted to win at home in front of our fans, but we did not succeed and now we will work hard to grow again and make a change."
