Gigi Buffon was confident that his Juventus side would get the three points against Milan – despite their initial struggles to score against the Rossoneri.
Juve beat the Italian champions 2-0 on Sunday night, but only thanks to two late goals from Claudio Marchisio after numerous chances were wasted.
"I had faith because we deserved these three points and we were chasing them until the very end," stated the custodian.
"We're very satisfied for this positive result because we've achieved it by showing our best football," he continued.
"We now need to maintain this spirit and this aggression, because without it we could run the risk of becoming a normal side."
The Turin giants impressed last night with a performance that revived memories of the Juve sides bossed by Marcello Lippi and Fabio Capello.
"This Juventus is going to become a valuable team, and the right spirit and the great morale that we show on the pitch, along with the freshness that we're able to demonstrate, as we play once a week, associate us with those sides."
Juve are joint top of Serie A, alongside Udinese, thanks to three wins and two draws from their five League games so far.
