Aleandro Rosi is well aware that he can only fulfil his Italy dream by proving himself at Serie A club Roma.
The 24-year-old is being suggested as a future international after a decent start to the season under the tutelage of new boss Luis Enrique.
"Playing for your country is the objective of every player," the player's agent, Davide Lippi, told Forza Roma.
"However, it is important that he confirms himself at Roma. It will then be up to Italy boss Cesare Prandelli to evaluate him and make his selections."
Rosi, a full-back who can also play in midfield, has finally been given an opportunity to impress in the capital.
"Aleandro is going through a good spell," Lippi added. "There is a Coach in Rome who has faith in him.
"He never got the chance with Claudio Ranieri on the bench."
