Stefano Sorrentino has admitted that he could have been going into this weekend's Chievo-Juventus game as a Bianconero.
"There was a chance for me to join Juventus a year ago," the goalkeeper told Tuttosport. "However, they opted to sign Marco Storari instead."
Sorrentino was linked with the Old Lady as the club looked for a new No 1 given that Gigi Buffon was ruled out of action for six months with injury at the time.
Despite approaching Chievo, the Turin giants opted to sign Milan-owned Storari to act as cover for the Italian international.
Turning to Sunday's game at the Bentegodi, Sorrentino revealed whom he thought would be the key men.
"I'm counting on Sergio Pellissier for us," he added. "Meanwhile, Andrea Pirlo will be the player that we'll have to stop in their team."
