Christian Maggio is no closer to signing a new contract with Napoli despite his impressive displays.
The Italian international is looking to extend his deal at the Stadio San Paolo given that it is set to expire in June 2013.
Talks have been taking place between the two parties, but an agreement has yet to be reached.
"There is nothing new to report," agent Massimo Briaschi told Radio CRC on Wednesday afternoon.
"We're waiting for Napoli and then we'll decide what to do.
"This renewal talk has been going on for the last four months, but we've been unable to wrap it up. All we can do is continue to wait."
In another interview today, Briaschi added that his last conversation with Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon took place three weeks ago.
