Stefano Mauri believes Lazio are a match for anyone this season and can't wait to challenge Juventus at the weekend.
The Aquile currently lie second in Serie A and travel to Turin with a three-point advantage over their opponents.
"Juventus are a great team and they have clearly said that their objective is to win the Scudetto," Mauri explained.
"We want to show that we can be a match for anyone. We are a strong team.
"We'll need to go out on the pitch concentrated with the right mentality.
"Juve have many players who can resolve the game like Milos Krasic and Fabio Quagliarella who are in good form, without forgetting Vincenzo Iaquinta and Ale Del Piero.
"The victory over Inter gave us a lot, but above all the consciousness that we are a good team. It was perhaps our best game of the season even if they had a depleted squad.
"We were all united and gave a lot on the pitch.
"This victory has to be a point of departure," he concluded.
