Arturo Vidal has praised Juventus boss Antonio Conte. "I'm not sure if I play like him, but he's a great Coach."
The Chilean has won comparisons as a midfielder with the tactician after quickly settling into life with La Vecchia Signora.
"I saw him play and even here at Vinovo we have watched DVDs of that Juventus side that he played in," the summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen told the Corriere dello Sport.
"I don't know if I am like him as a player, but I know that we all want to become a side as strong as his…"
Conte replaced Gigi Del Neri on the Juve bench this summer after leading Serie B side Siena into the top flight last term.
"Conte is a Coach who knows a lot about football, he's passionate and loves his work. I like how he prepares us for games. I like the fact that he always wants to win."
The tactician arrived as a 4-4-2 man, but he's transformed his system to incorporate Vidal, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio in midfield.
"Pirlo and Marchisio are exceptional," the South American added.
"I have just given my all in every training session and I have been fortunate enough to adapt quickly. It is the side which has done well…"
Juve are League leaders and they'll face Napoli at the San Paolo on Sunday.
"It will be a delicate game against a strong and ambitious side. They'll want to win to cancel out the defeat at Bayern Munich, but we are aiming for victory too."
