Pioli rues Bologna errors

Stefano Pioli rues the “couple of errors that prejudiced the result” in Bologna's defeat to Palermo.

The Rossoblu were beaten 3-1 at the Stadio Barbera this evening, although the Coach was relatively content with their overall performance.

“I am very disappointed by the result, as the team did play well,” said Pioli.

“We had many shots on goal, but a couple of errors that prejudiced the result proved to be decisive.

“The squad played with consistency and some quality, so it's a shame that the result is so harsh on us.

“Nonetheless, we go back to Bologna aware that we gave our all. We are growing, but in Serie A you do get punished when making a mistake.

“Our objective is to reach 40 points as soon as possible and we've got to get that target.”
