Reja: 'Beat Juve to be taken seriously'

Edy Reja maintains “the Scudetto is nothing to do with us,” but a Lazio win against Juventus “would force everyone to take us seriously.”

As time goes on and they remain in the top two, some are starting to suggest the Biancocelesti can be title contenders.

“The Scudetto is nothing to do with us, but if we were to get a positive result, then our ambitions would increase,” confessed the Coach.

“This is not a decisive match, but can certainly give us some important clues as to where the season will take us. A good performance would force everyone to take us more seriously. We are definitely not inferior to Juve.

“Never say never in football, but we are slightly behind the ‘big' clubs. Having said that, and without taking our fans for a ride, if we maintain this humility then we can still cause some surprises.”
