Siena will be without their top scorer Emanuele Calaiò for the next two weeks after he picked up a calf injury.
The striker pulled up during today’s training session and tests on his left calf muscle revealed a first degree strain.
Club medics believe it will take Calaiò around two weeks to recover from this setback.
He will therefore miss Sunday’s relegation tussle with Atalanta and most likely next week’s match with Inter.
Calaiò is currently Siena’s top scorer, having netted five Serie A goals this season.
