Giuseppe Sannino has great regrets after Siena’s dramatic finale with Inter. “We were happy two minutes from the end…”
The Tuscans had 10 points from their last four home games and seemed set to earn a stalemate today until Luc Castaignos scored at the 90th minute.
“We were happy two minutes from the end…” moaned the Coach.
“The final 120 seconds were fatal. After this game, you have to go in the locker room, look each other in the eye and not say very much.
“We were all so satisfied with the work we had done up to that point, but that’s Serie A. We are a side who use up a lot of energy, as our football is based on hard work and aggression, but we’ll have time to sort things out.
“This is football, we have to push forward and think of the next game.”
