Giampaolo Pazzini breathed a sigh of relief when scoring his first home goal of the season for Inter. “Finally!”
The striker was yet to find the net at San Siro this term and without a Serie A goal since September, but broke his drought in last night’s 2-0 win over Fiorentina.
“Finally!” he grinned on Inter Channel. “It was a goal I was looking for and waiting for. It was a great Philippe Coutinho pass and I’m happy.
“Now we all have to try to find some consistency. I believe luck owes us a little bit after the last few months, so we hope it is finally going our way.
“I could’ve scored a second, but when you change your mind at the last second, it always goes wrong.
“I had told my teammates that I’d hold a party if I got a shot on target, let alone a goal! I’d better get planning, then.”
