Diego Milito is still a top player, says Gian Piero Gasperini – his former boss at both Genoa and Inter.
The Argentine international is being linked with a January exit after his struggles in Milan over the last 18 months.
The rumour mill has paired him with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, but also his previous club Genoa.
“I don’t know if the Rossoblu will re-sign him,” Gasperini, sacked by Inter in September, is quoted as saying.
“I would be happy if he remained at Inter, but if he leaves then the club that sign him will pick up a bargain.
“Milito is a player who is always present and the goals will start to flow again for him.”
The South American has scored just four times in 16 games for the Nerazzurri so far during this campaign.
