Danish international Daniel Jensen tells Novara fans to “relax” when it comes to securing safety, while they officially sign Leandro Rinaudo from Napoli.
The 32-year-old midfielder arrived on a free transfer from Werder Bremen following a row with Coach Thomas Schaaf.
“I tell the fans to relax, as the Novara we saw on Sunday against Fiorentina isn’t the real thing,” Jensen said of the 3-0 home defeat.
He has over 50 caps for Denmark and played in Holland, Spain and Germany before this transfer.
“I can promise that I’ll give everything I’ve got to achieve Serie A safety. I’m in good shape and only need to get my match fitness back.”
Novara also announced today that they have signed defender Rinaudo on loan from Napoli.
Negotiations with the Partenopei are also at an advanced stage for Giuseppe Mascara.
