Milan duo Kevin Prince Boateng and Alessandro Nesta will sit out the Rossoneri’s next League match after being handed one-game suspensions.
The energetic midfielder and experienced centre-back were both booked in their side’s 1-0 home defeat to city rivals Inter on Sunday evening. Having accumulated yellow cards, it has been confirmed that both will now be forced to miss the Week 19 fixture with Novara.
Il Diavolo’s Piedmont opponents will also have two men suspended for that fixture in the form of Paolo Dellafiore and Massimo Paci, who both also accumulated bookings this weekend.
Other suspensions for Week 19 include Genoa’s Marco Rossi, Bologna’s Archimede Morleo and Nicolo Cherubin, Atalanta’s Stefano Lucchini and Carlos Carmona, Siena’s Alessandro Gazzi and Luca Rossettini, Lecce’s Guillermo Giacomazzi and Inter’s Thiago Motta.
