Maxi Lopez ready for Fulham

Maxi Lopez has been left out of Catania’s squad against Udinese, fuelling reports he has agreed a transfer to Fulham.

“We are all professionals and are used to dealing with these situations, but clearly Maxi is not going through a very relaxed time because he knows that he could change clubs soon,” confirmed Coach Vincenzo Montella.

According to ItaSportPress, Maxi Lopez has given the all-clear to complete his move to Fulham, no longer waiting for a new offer from Milan.

The Cottagers will pay €1.6m to take him on loan for six months, then pay €8.5m to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

The Argentine is set to sign a four-year contract worth €1.4m per season.
