Esteban Cambiasso has admitted that his Inter side were totally outplayed by Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Giallorossi collected a stunning 4-0 victory in the capital after Saturday’s game was moved to Sunday afternoon.
“We have no alibis for what happened,” the Argentine midfielder told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday.
“Roma were superior to us under all aspects of the game.
“In the past we’ve been fortunate to win games, while on others we have played better than our opponents but found it tough to beat their ‘keeper.”
The Giallorossi are now just one position and two points behind fifth-place Inter in the table. Roma though still have 27 minutes of their game with Catania to finish, with the score currently at 1-1.
