Former Italy and Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi will be keeping an eye on the development of Pescara young gun Lorenzo Insigne.
The Italian Under-21 international, on loan at the club from Napoli, is widely considered as a potential star of the future and Sacchi agrees.
“He is one of the most interesting players in Serie B right now,” the former tactician noted. “He could do some important things in the future.”
Insigne has been a key man for Serie B leaders Pescara this season, scoring nine goals with no penalties to date.
It’s unclear where he will be playing next season given that there are suggestions that he may be recalled to the Stadio San Paolo.
Insigne is still just 20.
