Napoli striker Cristiano Lucarelli insists he is ready to return to action after a couple of months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
The 35-year-old underwent surgery 90 days ago and has made a speedy recovery when one considers he tore his cruciate ligaments.
Lucarelli had made just three appearances for his new club following a move from Livorno where he was on loan from Parma
When asked about his recovery, he said: "There were people who said I wouldn't play again.
"I am ready. I feel fine. I can't wait to make myself useful to this team and give my contribution to this extraordinary season."
Napoli currently lie second in Serie A, just three points behind League leaders Milan at the winter break.
