Donadoni: Juve protest 'nauseating'

Parma boss Roberto Donadoni is “nauseated” by the Juventus refereeing controversy and insists his men will remain focused on Roma.

The Ducali held Juve to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday and the Bianconeri were furious at what they saw as two penalties not awarded in their favour.

“I won’t respond to what I heard and read over the past few days,” noted Donadoni in his press conference.

“I want to stay out of this controversy, not out of fear or difficulty in fighting back. I have my ideas and will keep them to myself, as expressing them would not benefit me, Parma or the football world in general.

“In all honesty, I found it all a little nauseating. I consider these comments to be a squalid choreography around the game. In this sense, I think my team is calm and not affected by all this talk. We want to focus our attention on other aspects.”

Parma have a tough test on Sunday, as they take on Luis Enrique’s Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

“We mustn’t notice whether we’re playing home or away, as I want the same attitude in every arena. We are facing a Roma side of great quality and want to prove ourselves at this level.

“Parma must use the same spirit we had against Juventus.”
