Napoli will have their lucky charm on the bench for tonight’s Champions League tie against Chelsea – Nicolo Frustalupi.
The latter will boss the side from the sidelines this evening as Coach Walter Mazzarri will be serving a suspension, the first of his two-match ban.
Frustalupi, son of Lazio legend Mario, has a 100 per cent record when taking over from Mazzarri with the Azzurri.
In December 2010, Napoli defeated Steaua Bucharest 1-0 in the Europa League and they beat Parma 3-1 in Serie A last term.
Frustalupi, 35, has been working with Mazzarri since their time together at Pistoiese in 2002.
Mazzarri yesterday confirmed his faith in the youngster by saying: “He’s a really good Coach and a guarantee. He’s tactically better than me. He’ll know what to say to the team in my absence.”
