Roma hope to increase their American connection with a bid for Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey.
The Giallorossi are owned by a US conglomerate who bought out the Sensi family last summer and aim to further develop marketing links around the globe.
This is part of the reason behind a reported push to bring Dempsey in from Fulham, where he has scored 18 goals in all competition already this season, including two hat-tricks.
