Palermo have signed Novara striker Pablo Andres Gonzalez for next season, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Argentine has scored 11 goals for the Serie B leaders in the current campaign and was attracting a great deal of interest.

Il Corriere understands Palermo have wrapped up a deal to bring Gonzalez to the Renzo Barbera in June.

Novara will receive €2m in cash for 25-year-old as well as Samir Ujkani and Michel Morganella in exchange.

Palermo have beaten off competition from Atalanta who are currently joint top of Serie B with Novara.
