Zdenek Zeman believes Roma have more to lose when they meet Lazio in the derby on Sunday.
The charismatic Czech tactician, now back in charge of Foggia, famously coached both clubs in the `90s.
Interviewed on Sky Italia, Zeman said: "When it's the derby, the entire city gets involved. The yellow and red parts are perhaps more intense, but both get great satisfaction when their side wins.
"Roma need a result more than Lazio. The Giallorossi have everything to lose, while Lazio have the advantage of being able to play with calm.
"Roma definitely have to get the points. I don't know if they would be happy with a draw or if they will try and win."
Zeman then gave his opinion on how Francesco Totti's suspension might influence the game.
"Roma without Totti are no longer Roma. He has been the team's most important player for 15 or 16 years, but it's also true that the Giallorossi have won derbies without Totti."
