Juventus have formally announced the signing of Wolfsburg defender Andrea Barzagli.
The 29-year-old successfully passed a medical on Wednesday and joins Juventus in a transfer worth €300,000.
It's reported that Barzagli's fee could double depending on performance-related bonuses.
Barzagli had just six months left on his contract at Wolfsburg and expressed his desire to return to Italy after two and a half seasons in the Bundesliga.
His deal with Juventus will last until June 2013. He is the Old Lady's second signing of the January transfer window after Luca Toni.
