Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder has told L'Equipe that he never intends to play for Real Madrid again despite his admiration for Jose Mourinho.
The Holland international, who is a favourite for the Ballon d'Or, left Real Madrid a year ago and set about winning the treble at Inter.
"Of course [Mourinho has tried to make me leave for Real]. We have stayed in touch. But it's impossible.
"I don't want to go back to a club who treated me in this way. I can't act as if nothing happened.
"For me, Madrid is ancient history. I will never play for Real again.
"After the Champions League Final [at the Bernabeu] I came across Florentino Perez in the stands.
"He congratulated me. 'You deserve it,' he said. I just said thank you and shook his hand. I am not the kind for revenge."
