Alessandro Del Piero is expected to meet Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta later today to discuss a new contract.
The 36-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the season and La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has given the all clear to offer the veteran striker a renewal.
Juventus' offer is said to be that of a one-year rolling contract worth around €2m plus bonuses.
The Bianconeri feel Del Piero deserves to be kept on the club's books after making 34 appearances already this season and scoring seven goals.
