The Brazilian is not even in the squad for the Round of 16 first leg clash at the Stadio Olimpico due to a bruised ankle.

It means Alexander Doni will start between the posts to hold out the Ukrainians.

David Pizarro is also still absent despite taking part in training this week, but should finally make his comeback next week against Parma.
