Gennaro Gattuso was overjoyed at his first goal in three years to sink Juventus, “but there's a long, hard road ahead of us towards the Scudetto.”
The gritty midfielder hadn't hit the back of the net since January 1998, but got the only goal in Turin this evening.
“The goal is very important, but there's a long, hard road ahead of us towards the Scudetto,” he told Sky Italia television.
“We are now eight points ahead of Inter again, but tomorrow evening I'm sure it'll be five points.
“The atmosphere is positive and at times the Coach has to interrupt a training session as we are too determined! When there's that kind of attitude, we always get an important trophy.”
Many expect the Scudetto race to be decided by the Milan derby next month.
“The derby is still worth three points, just like every other game.”
