Berlusconi opens door to Kaka

Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi says it would be "great news" if Real Madrid playmaker Ricky Kaka were to return to the club.

Last week Kaka's father Bosco encouraged Milan to bring his son back to San Siro after an injury-blighted 18 months in Spain.

Quoted in Tuttosport after a trip to the dentist, Berlusconi apparently said: "If Kaka were to return, it would be great news.

"I don't think a return is possible. Not right now. But if he were to return it would really be great news for Milan and for all the fans."

Asked about Wednesday's Champions League knockout tie with Tottenham, Berlusconi said: "As ever I am very confident.

"The victory against Juventus in Turin was very, very important. We have been up there [challenging] for the Scudetto since the beginning and we will stay there," he concluded.
