Ciro Ferrara has named his first squad as Under-21 Coach and called in 12 newcomers for the friendly against Turkey.
The former Juventus manager replaced Pierluigi Casiraghi after the failure to qualify for the European Championships and 2012 Olympics.
He will make his debut in a friendly match at the Stadio Recchioni in Fermo against their Turkish counterparts on Wednesday November 17.
Ferrara has chosen 12 newcomers for this match, including Viareggio goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio.
There are five defenders, Michele Camporese (Fiorentina), Giulio Donati (Lecce), Marco Davide Faraoni (Inter), Lorenzo Tonelli (Empoli) and Luca Caldirola (Vitesse).
Midfield debutants at Under-21 level are Manuel Giandonato (Juventus), Gianvito Misuraca (Vicenza), Giuseppe Rizzo (Reggina), Marco Augusto Romizi (Reggiana) and Marco Tattini (Pavia).
The only striker added to the squad is Manolo Gabbiadini (Cittadella).
