Bari may be 12 points off safety, but Bortolo Mutti insists “if we beat Chievo, then we can believe.”
The Galletti are practically doomed to the drop, although last week's surprise 1-1 draw away to leaders Milan boosted their confidence.
“This game against Chievo is decisive. They have dropped points recently and we must only focus on the victory,” said the Coach.
“A win would give us some hope of getting back into the race for safety. We need to be rational and play with quality, plus aggression and focus.
“I spoke to the squad very clearly in the locker room: by any means necessary, we need to get these three points.”
Paolo Vitor Barreto, Salvatore Masiello, Vitalii Kutuzov, Alessandro Parisi, Andrea Raggi and Gianluca Galasso are all injured.
Young Norwegian Erik Huseklepp is expected to start in the trident attack with Abdel Ghezzal and Gergely Rudolf.
