Bari goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet admits his side haven't given up the dream of escaping the drop.
The Galletti recorded their first win since January last Sunday with a 2-1 victory away to Parma.
However, Bari remain 12 points adrift of safety and look certain to be relegated.
Interviewed by Corriere dello Sport, Gillet said: "You have to dream about two wins in a row. It has never happened this year, but it's necessary if we want to keep the little flame of home alive.
"We have to win above all at home. It feels like a lifetime since we got three points in front of our home fans."
Asked about his future, Gillet said: "Right now I don't want to talk about the future. I am very happy in Bari. I will stay here once my career is over.
"We are in the race for survival even if realistically is a very difficult thing. There will be many changes. Serie A is one thing. Serie B is another.
"We need to evaluate the situation calmly and see what happens. But honestly I haven't thought about it clearly."
