Bologna have appointed Albano Guaraldi as their new President this evening – their fifth in the last 10 months.
The troubled club held a Board of Directors meeting in which outgoing President Marco Pavignani tended his resignation.
He had only been in charge since January 21 and was always intended to be a stop-gap solution.
Guaraldi was voted in with Maurizio Setti as his Vice-President, becoming Bologna's fifth President in the last 10 months.
The club was on the verge of bankruptcy several times during this season and were docked three points in the Serie A table due to financial irregularities.
