Serie A side Fiorentina will hold crunch contract talks with captain Riccardo Montolivo at the end of April.
The Italian's future at the Franchi is in doubt after he admitted that he would consider all of his options before committing himself to the Viola cause.
With his current agreement set to expire in 2012, Fiorentina want to tie him down to a new deal in order to cancel out the possibility of losing him for nothing next year.
"We are seeing Montolivo at the end of this month," club patron Andrea Della Valle noted.
"We are very attached to our captain and we'd like to reach an agreement which pleases him and us."
The former Atalanta player has been associated with moves to Inter and Juventus in recent months.
