The President of Flamengo claims Juan “wants to come back to us, but Roma must free him first.”
The Brazilian veteran is wondering where his future with the Giallorossi lies, especially after new American patron Thomas Di Benedetto completes the take-over.
“I often speak with Juan, because my dream is to let him return to Flamengo,” President Patricia Amorim told Lance newspaper.
“He told me that he wants to come back to us, but Roma must free him first.”
The club recently terminated the contract with Adriano by mutual consent so he could return on a free transfer to Brazil.
It is reported that Corinthians and Gremio have also made offers for Juan, but he won't play for any other Brazilian side.
He started his career in the Flamengo youth academy and spent seven years at the club.
